United World International School (UWIS) offers comprehensive college counseling services to support students in their higher education pursuits. The college counseling program at UWIS includes:

These services are designed to help students identify the qualifications needed for their intended courses of study and to gain admission to universities worldwide. The program emphasizes teaching students how to choose the right course and university by considering factors such as location, university rankings, entry requirements, tuition fees, and application deadlines. Additionally, UWIS offers workshops to guide students in writing personal statements and college essays.

Information Sessions

• Evening sessions for parents and students from Grades 8–12 to provide insights into the college application process.

• Students and parents can request one-on-one meetings with the College Counselor for personalized guidance.

Assistance with various aspects of the application process, including

• Internships and work experience opportunities, 

• Summer courses and programs, 

• Personality assessments,

• Preparation for standardized tests such as SAT and ACT,

• Career research, 

• Crafting university essays and personal statements, 

• Obtaining teacher and counselor letters of recommendation, 

• Conducting mock interviews, 

• Organizing university and college visits, and

• Preparing and submitting university applications and tracking offers.
